Çağ University Continues to Make Difference In Virtual Worlds

Within Çağ University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, the "Virtual Worlds" course conducted by Asst. Prof. Dr. Murat Gülmez, Asst. Prof. Dr. Saadet Sağtaş, and Res. Asst. Ersin İnal, it was implemented for the 3rd time in the 3D virtual campus previously built within the scope of the "Education in Virtual Worlds Project" in the fall of 2020-2021. The “Virtual Worlds” course, which is applied twice a year for third year undergraduate students of International Business, International Finance and Banking and International Trade and Logistics department, in the Spring and Fall semesters, continues to make a difference with the participation of volunteer students who choose this course.


In cooperation with the social responsibility organization "Feed a Smile - Live and Learn in Kenya Int'l" within the scope of the Virtual Worlds course, a fundraising activity was organized for children that are in need who live in Nakuru, Kenya. Cooperating with Live and Learn, a German charity organization, and Kenya in the virtual world called Second Life, Çağ University collected.



Our students also had the opportunity to get to know alternative technology-based education areas within the scope of lessons and projects. Children to whom the fundraising reached; they conveyed their photographic gratitude to our university, the responsible lecturer of the course and our students. We congratulate our students for their successfully attempted event.
